Brian Robson from Rhyl, North Wales, secures £21,350
The manager of a telecommunications company from Rhyl secured £21,350 in compensation following a road traffic accident on the M56 between Manchester and Chester in the summer of 2009.
Brian, 55 from Rhyl in North Wales, had been driving two of his work colleagues to a new business meeting in Manchester when they decided to take a well earned
break at a service station en route.
Coming off the M56 they carefully joined a roundabout aiming to turn right when a van suddenly and unexpectedly came straight out of the next entrance hitting them at
the passenger rear side and then further colliding with two other vehicles.
“He must have entered the roundabout at 60 miles an hour,” commented one of Brian’s passengers Joe Wiley, “he didn’t look, didn't seem to brake at all and certainly gave the impression that he couldn't care less just after impact.”
Such was the force of the collision that their car, a new Vauxhall Insignia, then spun into another car following closely behind them on the roundabout, crushing
Brian in the process.
Police, ambulances and fire crew rushed to the scene where they managed to carefully cut Brian from the wreckage without any further issue. He was immediately rushed to
hospital where after a period of observation was diagnosed with broken leg and fractured arm resulting in three months off work and nearly nine months of physiotherapy.
Luckily Sue Robson, his wife, knew about Michael Lewin Solicitors and she immediately appointed us to fight the insurance companies on her husband’s behalf.
“Not only did we rightly secure Mr Robson his compensation, commented James Green, but we also successfully fought and won compensation for his two passengers who were also traumatized by the whole affair.”
